Natel Energy projects

hydroEngineTM units may be installed in manmade and natural waterways in a range of agricultural, rural, urban, and industrial settings. Installations can easily be configured to work within the physical and operational constraints of drops in irrigation canals, wastewater outfalls, streams, and rivers.

The key areas of flexibility are the engine setting with respect to the elevation of the lower pool, and with respect to the water flow. The unit can be set anywhere from below the level of the tailwater, to above the level of the upper pool. In addition, it can be oriented perpendicular or at an angle to the incoming water flow.

Natel completed installation of its first commercial project, located in Buckeye, Arizona, in December of 2009. Buckeye Water Conservation and Drainage District provided the canal setting and Natel provided its model SLH10 hydroEngine™ and electrical system.
